{"id":16263,"date":"2024-04-12T13:35:21","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T13:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.del-one.org\/?p=16263"},"modified":"2024-04-12T13:36:43","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T13:36:43","slug":"del-one-federal-credit-union-day-march-28-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.del-one.org\/es\/media-room\/del-one-federal-credit-union-day-march-28-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Del-One Federal Credit Union Day \u2013 March 28, 2024!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Del-One Federal Credit Union is proud to be the first credit union in Delaware to receive the Juntos Avanzamos designation.\u00a0 This designation, which is granted to credit unions committed to serving and empowering Hispanic and immigrant consumers, was recognized by several political figures.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>City of Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen attended the proclamation ceremony on March 28<sup>el<\/sup>, 2024 at Del-One\u2019s Corporate location in Dover.\u00a0 Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester was not able to attend the event but sent a congratulatory letter to Del-One President &amp; CEO Dan McCarthy, which stated \u201cDelaware\u2019s communities are home to many cultures, and it is that diversity that makes us who we are.\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer, who also attended the ceremony, stated this designation \u201cgoes to the heart of who we are, as Americans and Delawarians\u201d.\u00a0 He also presented a proclamation to Del-One which includes, \u201cthe principles of Juntos Avanzamos, which translates to \u2018Together we Advance\u2019, align with Del-One Federal Credit Union\u2019s values of inclusivity, cultural competence, and respect for all members, regardless of immigration status.\u201d\u00a0 Mr. Meyer then proclaimed March 28, 2024 as Del-One Federal Credit Union Day in New Castle County, and expressed gratitude for Del-One\u2019s \u201cremarkable commitment to serving and empowering the Hispanic community.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>President &amp;
