Did you know that 2020 marks Del-One’s 60th year in business?
To celebrate this milestone, we want to be involved in 60 Acts of Kindness in Delaware communities
Del-One is continuing its 60 Acts of Kindness with:
Act 4 – Blessing Bags
Del-One put together “blessing bags” for the homeless in our communities. The intention of making a blessing bag is to care for someone in need in your community – to bless them. Each branch received blessing bags to hand out or provide to members who may know someone in need.

Act 5 – Jan 31st National Fun at Work Day
Del-One hosted a friendly competition amongst teammates for National Fun at Work Day. Teammates and members voted for their favorite group photo on social media and the winning department/branch were able to choose a charity for Del-One FCU to support.

Act 6 – Feb 4th National Thank a Mail Carrier Day
Del-One wanted to thank our mail carriers for all that they do on National Mail Carrier Day, so we created thank you cards and goodie bags for our USPS/UPS/FedEx guys that come to our corporate building, and branches created their own gifts of appreciation for their postal workers. Individuals were also encouraged to thank the postal women and men at home.

Act 7 – Feb 7th Wear Red Day
“On the first Friday of every February, which is designated as American Heart Month, the nation comes together, igniting a wave of red from coast to coast. From landmarks to news anchors and neighborhoods to online communities; this annual groundswell unites millions of people for a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke.” -American Heart Association
Del-One encouraged all teammates to wear red Friday, February 7, 2020 for National Heart Month!

Act 9 – Spread the Love (card writing stations)
February is all about LOVE and we wanted to share some of that love from Feb 10th to Feb 15th! We asked each of our branches to set up a Spread the Love station in their branch. We encouraged our members and teammates to write notes of appreciation for the staff at the branches, teammates, friends, family or whomever they chose! Think about everyone for whom you have gratitude; including those who clean our space, make our food and keep the lights on!
