Representatives from Del-One Federal Credit Union were honored to attend a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for Innovative Kids Early Learning Academy on Friday, June 20el. Located at 614 Pulaski Highway in Bear, Innovative Kids provides a “high-quality early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old”. Del-One’s Chief Banking Officer, John Chartrand, connected with Dr. Keenan Dorsey, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Kids earlier this year. Dr. Dorsey’s vision was impressive, and his enthusiasm for this venture was contagious.
Close to 200 people attended the event, including Del-One’s President and CEO Dan McCarthy who was able to speak to the crowd about how initiatives such as this venture help to build and strengthen our communities. McCarthy stated, “like Dr. Dorsey and Innovative Kids, Del-One is of the community, and we could not be prouder to be the financial institution who put its money and resources where its mouth is, and support such a worthwhile cause as helping children reach their fullest potential.”
