“Del-One in Rider Country Presents on Budgeting”

Del-One Federal Credit Union partners with area schools providing learning opportunities to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. Students chosen for the student branch at Caesar Rodney High School work with teachers Mrs.Way and Mrs. Matthews, along with Del-One’s Member Experience Manager Karon Barbour and Youth Experience Specialist Chase Maracle to learn teller operations while working as a team and developing soft skills.

Student tellers from Ceasar Rodney High School presented a workshop they created based around budgeting and financial education. The presentation was held at Del-One’s corporate location. The workshop, which was delivered to other high school students, broke down financial concepts into practical and relatable examples, helping students to see the real-life importance of budgeting and making informed financial decisions. These students did an amazing job delivering a thoughtful, engaging and educational experience.
