Del-One Federal Credit Union is one of the fastest growing credit unions in Delaware.

Del-One Federal Credit Union offers competitive salaries and exceptional benefits, which include:

New employees accrue 18 days of Paid Time Off(PTO) per year. The longer you’re employed, the more time off you accrue annually.

In addition, full-time staff receive:

  • Paid Federal Holidays
  • Paid Bereavement Leave for the loss of an immediate family member or close relative
  • Should Del-One shorten operational hours on the eve of a holiday (i.e. Christmas Eve) or due to inclement weather, employees shall be compensated up to a maximum of 8 hours.
  • Following participation in a Del-One sponsored/supported charitable event, employees will be allowed to offset up to a maximum of three (3) hours.

Del-One pays 85% of the cost for employee medical/prescription drug plans through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. An employee’s coverage effects on the first day of the month following the hire date.

Del-One pays 70% of the cost for employee dental plans through MetLife. An employee’s coverage effects on the first day of the month following the hire date.

Vision coverage is offered through VSP. This employee buy-in program offers low-cost coverage to Del-One employees. The more employees who participate in the plan, the lower the group rate.

Del-One offers employees the opportunity to save tax dollars by participating in flexible spending accounts for dependent care and/or medical expenses. Employees may enroll into the FSA Program within 30 days of employment.

Del-One pays 100% of the cost for employee long-term and short-term disability coverage through MetLife.

Short-term disability coverage pays 66.67% of employee’s weekly salary up to a weekly maximum of $1,500 for up to 13 weeks. Long-term disability will pay 50% of an employee’s weekly salary up to a maximum benefit of $6,000.

Employees may add onto this coverage at their own expense, if desired, by purchasing additional disability coverage through Del-One’s partnership with Aflac.

Del-One provides full-time employees group life insurance, valued at $100,000, at no charge to employees. This insurance policy also provides accidental death and dismemberment benefits.

Del-One’s Business Travel Accident Insurance coverage provides protection to employees and dependents at no cost while travelling to, from, and during all business-related trips at the direction and approval of Del-One. Coverage includes accidental death and dismemberment benefits.

Employees may add onto this coverage at their own expense, if desired, by purchasing additional life insurance coverage through Del-One’s partnership with Aflac.

Full-time employees may be eligible to contribute to a 401k plan. Del-One offers industry-competitive employer contributions to retirement plans. Plans are administered through Principal and offer a wide variety of investment opportunities as well as a Save Smart (R) option which will automatically increase your contributions annually- making it easier than ever to plan for your future.

Del-One wants to support employees’ continuing education in related fields. After an employee has been with the company for 1 year, we give up to $1,500/year to help cover the cost of undergraduate studies. Employees pursuing graduate studies may qualify for up to $2,000/year in tuition reimbursement.

Del-One strongly supports the growth of our employees and offers frequent opportunities for promotion within the company.

The credit union offers a incentive plan designed to align the employee goals with the strategic initiatives of Del-One, to motivate staff to perform at the highest possible level, and to reward employees based upon their results. This plan allows staff to earn up to 4% of their annual pay in bonuses throughout the year.

Del-One provides a variety of training and growth opportunities to staff throughout the year including the ability to participate in eLearning modules on topics ranging from federal banking regulations to customer service and management skills.
