Del-One Federal Credit Union’s President & CEO Dan McCarthy and Chief Banking Officer John Chartrand were honored to join Co-Sponsor Senator Spiros Mantzavinos at Governor Matt Meyers signing of Senate Bill 247 at Legislative Hall in Dover. This bill affirms Delaware credit unions are eligible to accept public deposits and can serve government partners at every level.
President & CEO Dan McCarthy stated “we were honored to attend this bill signing, which marks a meaningful step forward in expanding access to safe, community-focused financial services. This new opportunity enables credit unions to support municipalities, public institutions, and ultimately the residents who rely on them. When public dollars stay local, they can be reinvested into community development, small business growth, and financial well-being for families in our community”.
